Google Civics / Public Policy

Many don’t know but Google has a Civics outreach team that trains candidates, campaigns, and organizations on best practices for Google products and tools. The Google Civics outreach team uses social (specifically X) to share updates on their efforts to support the democratic process and civic engagement using Google tools. They called upon us to help create monthly content that aligned to immediate and future needs.

After several months of content on their Google Civics channel, Google decided to shift their focus and efforts and take a Newsroom approach to showcase their involvement in Public Policy. Working closely with our journalist team and the client brand team, I developed a look and feel for their new social program.
